Current Situation

On the 12th October, Scottish Government announced the return of routine treatment to dental practices as of 1st November. However, this does not mean that dental services are back to business as usual, as the processes and procedures put in place to mitigate against virus transmission are still in force, and indeed are currently more important than ever.

We are operating under strict COVID-19 restrictions, and are only able to see a significantly reduced number of patients in a day in order to keep everyone safe. We are attempting to prioritise patients according to their particular clinical situation to ensure that those experiencing pain, or who are most at risk if treatment is further delayed, will be seen soonest.

ADVICE PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE ALBION CLINIC

• We will contact you in advance of your appointment by text, email or phone to allow us to complete pre-visit screening.
• We would ask you to attend alone, bring minimal belongings and use toilet facilities before arriving at the practice.
• Please try to attend exactly at the time of your appointment to help reduce the number of patients waiting.
• You will be met at the door, which is locked, asked to sanitise your hands and have your temperature recorded. We will recheck your COVID status at this point.
• Please wear a face covering.
